According to King Ov Hell and Gaahl... (Gorgoroth)

So according to the testimony of KOH / Gaahl the reason they broke up with Gorgoroth and decided to kick Infernus out of the band had nothing to do with the latter's work ethic, homosexuality or drug abuse problem (like you can read online), but had to do with Infernus becoming ''weird'' after he came back from prison?
Source: King Ov Hell and Gaahl call out Infernus! (Voice Metal)
I read multiple accounts of other people also mentioning Infernus' change in character, right after he was released from jail in 2007. Coincidentally, that's where the problems with Gaahl / KOH started to happen.
Do any of you which incident they are referring to when they say it changed him for the worse? I always thought Infernus was a difficult person to deal with because of his addictions and passive aggressive ''beta'' temper in the studio, something Pest spoke out about, but now they seem to insinuate there was more to the story.
Thanks! :)

It was an incident in the showers. With an African gentleman.

@Gandalf: Truth is often stranger than fiction yeah

@Gandalf: that's just an urban legend.
It was described in greater detail in the other thread on Gorgoroth, he began to joking/not-joking support some pretty edgy stuff, like Spread HIV and stuff like that.

Now why this didn't fly with Gaahl, another gay man, I don't really know. Also maybe the fact that he was accused of g*ng r*ping an asylum seeking woman, from Congo.
I had to stand with Infernus for three years while he was going through a rape charge. I've had my face all over newspapers all around the world connected to racist rape. - King ov Hell

You whining again about Gorgoroth? Literally the single most overrated BM band in the Norwegian scene, and yet you guys want to talk all day long about Tieg's messed up fantasies. Yawn. Get a freking hobby mates.

The Taake vocalist can't remember his name said he was offered... weird stuff... by Infernus in exchange for cigarettes when both bands were touring together Gorgoroth and Taake. They didn't like each other expect Infernus apparently liked offered his services to other men lmfao

Huh I always thought it was because he was slacking off in the studio that King and Gaahl wanted to kick him out of the band. Then again I don't pay much attention to Gorgoroth as they haven't been relevant since the 1990s ever.

@Sauron: Have you heard Instinctus Bestialis? Lol. Stolen Burzum riffs with shitty synths and a deathcore vocalist.

Hoest that was his name... the Taake vocalist. Anyway not surprised to hear Infernus is again implicated in a NS/LGBT scandal thing it was the case even when he was touring Europe in 2004 where he was arrest for that thing with an immigrant woman.

The real problem with Inferanus and Gorgoroth in general is that it's just very mediocre music. It's like a generic, low IQ version of Burzum/Graveland/Bathory. The style of 'melodic' black metal that's easy to play, hard to master, and Gorgoroth is very far from mastery - which is probably why they rely on provocation via interviews so much.
And the derivativeness of this band is just so out of control, it's not even funny.
Pentagram was a (bad) imitation of the Burzum debut, Antichrist a bad imitation of Det Som En Gang Var, Incipit Satan a bad imitation of Hvis Lyset Tar Oss - with the main riff from the first song (Det Som...) appearing no less than THREE (3) times over the course of the album. It's just cringe at this point. There are a few stolen Von, Mayhem and Bathory riffs too but whatever. This band is just too annoying, too clownish, too poserish, and most of all too derivative to take seriously. Down the drain with this shiet band.

@Horna: Didn't he have a Von/Sewer cover band too at some point? With some band members from Dissection, I can't remember the name.
Something where they would rewrite Satanic Requiem in Norwegian or some nonsense like that?

I remember reading an interview where they were touring in 2004 or so, and they couldn't find Infernus, so King (I believe?) ran all the way backstage and found him (Tiegs) in the toilet with another man, he started shouting 'where tf have you been' and Infernus said something like he was on his knees because they were doing a 'satanic pact' or smth. This band has always been garbage but sometimes (like these) they do provide some much needed comic relief in the scene

King also called him a gay dracula in the Voice Metal interview.
When I first met Infernus he was wearing a cape. We thought he was cosplaying for some *** Dracula movie. - King Ov Hell

They also said he was into doing advances on the band members, and their friends, which they naturally didn't approve of

Can we go at least 1 day without talking about poser bands like Gorgoroth, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Antekhrist, Keep of Kalessin and other such nonsense? Thanks.

@Famine: Hey at least Dimmu had one good album (For All Tid) lmfao

King is an anti-vaxxer. That's where the comments "shouldn't have taken the jab" next to Tiegs in a hospital bed came from. (he also got into feuds with Nergal who was calling for people to get vaccinated in 2022~2023)
