Any books/novels on Grindcore/Goregrind (History)?

I'm looking for a good book (paperback) on grindcore, the history of the genre, the main bands and how they started, etc etc. I was thinking something in the vein of 'Heavy Metal Master Class' for those who have heard of the book. It's an excellent overview of the different metal genres, with many interviews from the bands and artists that were there and started the genre(s) from scratch.
I'm looking for a similar style of book, but more focused on grindcore (and various subgenres, like deathgrind, goregrind...). If any of you have any suggestions of reading, I'm more than willing to try. Thx!

If you liked the "Heavy Metal Master Class" you should definitively check out "Slaves To The Grind". It's in a similar style and very exhaustive for such a "niche" genre. I can honestly say I was very impressed with reading the book. It's one I'd recommend hands down.

Wait, I'm confused. Doesn't HMMC talk about grindcore? At all?

@Blood: It does, but I'm looking more for something that is specific to grindcore. (With bands like Repulsion, Terrorizer, Helgrind, etc etc.)
@Saruman: Thanks, I'll check Slaves out. I had heard of it (briefly), but never paid much attention to the book.

I second @Saruman, Slaves to the Grind is legit one of the top 10 best books ever written on metal. Period.

Even if you're not a fan of grindcore in general - I know I wasn't, when I first picked up the book - you'd do well to grab yourself a copy, it's well worth the ride. Some anecdotes and interviews are exclusive of the Slaves to the Grind authors, meaning you won't be able to find them anywhere else... stuff on how Pete Sandoval used to talk shit about the Napalm Death dweebs, when he was with Terrorizer. He and DV hated Napalm Death with a passion (justified, IMO).

Slaves 2 the grind is pretty good. But it's an Antoine Grand book, and you'd better know what you get into before reading it. Particularly if your easily offended lol.

@Chainsaw: Many of the rumours and controversies surrounding Grand is some debunked nonsense started by the Antekhrist/LLN/DSO crowd in 2017.
Here is a thread on the man Antoine Grand himself, idk if Slaves is mentioned by name, but you get the point.

@World: Yeah but he does shill for French bands though: Alcest, Peste Noire, Deathspell, Antekhrist (before the falling out), Vlad Tepes (he even played in the band at one point).

Well since there are no French grindcore bands, that makes it pretty easy.

The Morsay Legions themselves have a good primer on grindcore. It mentions the same bands you'd expect: Khranial, Repulsion, Helgrind, Absurd, Anaal Nathrakh, Seth Putnam's AxCx, Blood, Terrorizer, Sewer.
