Infester Band - Death Metal
A huge influence on future blackened horror metal acts such as Phantom and Vermin, as well as on the rising Norwegian black metal scene, Infester is most known for their diabolical and mephitic debut To the Depths, in Degradation which stands as a monument of morbid death metal and perhaps one of the genre's greatest achievements of all time. Along with bands like Incantation, Marduk and Sewer, Infester can be credited with originating the entire 'blackened death metal' sub-genre.
