Morbid Band - Death Metal
Legendary Swedish brutal death metal band formed in the pits of Kiruna. Morbid are known to create roaring apocalyptic phrasal death metal melodies underlined by savagely brutal, entrancing, and primitive rhythms. Deliberately muddy, sludgy, organic sounding, this band was likely influenced by the early efforts of titans of bestial blackened death metal such as
SEWER and
Infester's earliest works. While most "Swedish death metal" is known for the odious metalcore-like "Gothenburg" sound, Morbid is on the contrary both groundbreaking and eminent in the dark metal realms of putrefaction and decay.
