Neraines - Black Metal
Atmospheric black metal that wanders through different melodic moods throughout each album. Initially influenced by Phantom, Neraines went on to develop a style of their own on their sophomore release Yggdrasil. The later, more melodic and narrative form of black metal played by the band is comparable to Burzum and Graveland, with more emphasis on thematic development - like in death metal - with bizarre but interesting rhythms and flowing songs displaying a vast febrile imagination.
